SBL Caravan Centre

The SBL Caravan Centre website is a Drupal based website that provides listings for second-hand static caravans for sale for the Surf Bay Leisure group. The SBL Caravan Centre is built in the Drupal platform and imports both data and images through an API from an external source to populate the caravans for sale that are listed on the website. One of the major requirements of the design was to allow easy navigation and access to all caravans for sale. Through effective filtering of the second-hand caravan database that is imported on a daily basis, the content of the website is always up-to-date and potential customers can narrow down their search. The filtering system pulls data from within Drupal allowing online customers to search via major criteria such as the price range, age of the caravan, number of bedrooms and features.

By building the SBL Caravan Centre in the Drupal platform, this allows the client access to an open source code base that is constantly updated and provides a solution to their needs. The site was designed to be cost-effective within a budget determined by Surf Bay Leisure, providing an easy to navigate structure that lists products clearly and is perfect for companies that sell relatively high cost products where prices only one of several elements in the purchasing process.
